What IS Christian Meditation?
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall MEDITATE in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
Much of what is called meditation (even “Christian meditation”) is hypnosis, not meditating on the Word of God.

Please, please do more like this! I am a Christian struggling with a severe anxiety disorder. I heard so much about the benefits of meditation and I didn’t like the idea of the whole, “empty your mind” thing. I have a difficult time shutting off the mind chatter and find this is still a problem even with regular Bible study. I prayed to the Lord to help me learn how to meditate on His word, because, you know, that’s something that’s rarely taught in churches anymore. I don’t know if Christians, in general, are afraid of it, but I was aware that meditating on God’s word is an old spiritual discipline that seems to have fallen by the wayside, for some reason. Finding your Christian Meditation package is a huge blessing to me! Keep it up!
