Are you ready for a breakthrough?

We’re off to a great start on the Daniel Diet!

Got on the scale this morning to record my starting weight (ugh!) – but that will make Day 10 all the more wonderful!!!

The optional 3-minute Morning Prayer Call with Jordan Rubin was a great way to start. He spoke on David coming against Goliath (can you relate with anything you’re facing right now?). Take heart!

What is Your Goliath?

David said to King Saul, “‘Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.’ Moreover David said, ‘The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine‘” (1 Samuel 17:36-37).

This time of fasting before the Lord is a time we can experience breakthrough and victory over whatever has been holding us back.

Fasting doesn’t help God hear us any better, but it does help us hear God more clearly! No “Goliath” in your life is too big for God!

Antioxidant Fruits – my first meal —

There are 90 different superfoods on the Daniel Diet — and I’m looking at a package of 30 of them in the EA Pulse Antioxidant Fruits (see ingredients here).

Oh wow! This is really, really good. Paul said whatever I can’t finish to give to him. I don’t think we’ll have that problem.

Get Some Fresh Air

I took a walk outdoors to enjoy an amazingly gorgeous spring day in northeastern Oklahoma. Working at the computer most of the day means I savor every moment outdoors!

While exercise is not essential, it’s good to do some walking and light exercise. I plan on doing some PraiseMoves and getting on the elliptical today, too, but that’s what I enjoy.If tired, rest.

Trust in the Lord

On the optional afternoon 3-minute Prayer Call, Jordan shared from Proverbs 3 and prayed with us. Amazing what can be accomplished in only a few minutes when dedicated to the Lord!

Think on these things, and be blessed:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall directyour paths.

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones.

Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
10 So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:5-10)
