Good advice! Are you hearing better? I don’t mean physically, but spiritually.
A partial fast like we’re on with the Daniel Diet with prayer 3 times-a-day does heighten one’s sensitivity to the voice of the Lord in prayer and meditation, in the Word of God, in circumstances around us and in godly communication with others.
What are some of the changes you are noticing?
I, for one still only ate 2 bags of EA Live today instead of 3. That is SO unusual (and GOOD) for me! Last night I wasn’t hungry for dinner, and today, I was full, so I chose to skip lunch. Nice.
Detoxifying physically — but also emotionally (hence the “be slow to wrath (anger)” part!). God is cleansing us. Often things come up to the surface so we can deal with them.
When you’re feeling sensitive or irritable, go to the Lord instead of venting or giving in to emotions.
“I keep my body under,” Paul the apostle said. “And bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified (or a castaway)” 1 Corinthians 9:27.
Fasting will help you do this.
Be sure you’re getting plenty of hydration – drinking your Reign Supreme Mountain Spring Water. Deep breathing is also advisable.
I did both today, doing some PraiseMoves postures in the morning after my first Reign water.
During a fast, that can be from acid crystals in the muscles. Keep hydrated. Massage therapy helps, as do working out on a rebounder (mini-trampoline) or jump-rope! Use of essential oils helps, as do cold-pressed oils, such as coconut oil.
The potassium in the EA Live foods will help push out the sodium and help bring balance of electrolytes in your body.
Half-Way Through the 10-Day Daniel Diet!
You’ve made it this far, so you CAN make it the rest of the way. Praise the Lord and thank Him for making this time available for you to honor Him with your fast.
Come back to www.DanielDiet.info tomorrow for Day 6!
