Day Nineteen: Fasting Update – Rewards for Fasting #12 – “Is this not the fast that I have chosen… And satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail…” (Isaiah 58:6&11).
Reward #12: Once your health springs forth–God will keep you healthy through fasting!
You will also have a divine supply, meeting every need. Seem hard to believe? Not with our God. By looking to Him as your heavenly source of supply, you will realize that you ARE “like a watered garden” (watered from above!), and “like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.”
WHO is the Source of that constant, never-failing spring? The Fountain of Life Himself, the Lord God. Glory to Him forevermore! Fasting helps us see that we do not live from paycheck to paycheck. The Lord is our food, our Source, our all-in-all who will never forsake us. It helps us to see that the One who made you, in God's economy, will never let the righteous go hungry. He IS your provider!
No matter what the news or circumstances may say, you KNOW you have the Lord who provides. One of His redemptive names is just that! Jehovah Jireh — God, your Provider. The Psalmist wrote, “I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” That's YOU! That means your children (your seed).
We're almost done with our 21-day fast, but you can continue to fast one day a week, or one meal a day, or several times a year–however the Lord leads you. Breakthroughs can be YOUR continual lifestyle in the mighty name of Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah)!
