I have not heard of this before. Pretty disturbing! Thanks for sharing. Have you put it on FB yet?

  3. Bev says:

This sounds like it was made in New Zealand? Do you know for sure that it’s happening in America?

Yes, it seems to be a common practice. I also read about it on Hannity and wikipedia. I’m sure some will consider it “safe” and “harmless,” but many (such as Dr. Mercola) disagree. It’s banned in the EU, but not the U.S. – yet, anyway.

This is one of the many reasons why we don’t purchase commerial-produced beef. Instead we’ve gone grass-fed. Tastes better and better for us. Also switched to bison, lamb and free range chicken as much as possible. Expensive, but so worth the investment. So much information out there on the dangers of consuming commercial meat products, yet folks are looking for the best “bang-for-their-buck” when it comes to filling the belly, no matter how toxic it may be. Folks, please support your local farmers! Better for you, better for the environment, better for the farmers! It’s a win-win situation! Thanks for the share. EVERYONE needs to know about this!!!
