“I appreciate your Beautiful Feet exercises so much (on the PraiseMoves Gold video)! This is a part of the body we don’t usually think to exercise. The first few times I did these exercises my toes cramped awful, but I persevered; my feet and ankles are becoming stronger & my balance is getting better – even with The Angel, Tree and Gate Postures!
“My little toes were turned under the adjacent toes at birth, and they never totally straightened. Then in the 1970s, I had bunionectomies (thanks to wearing pointy-toe spikes to work for 5 years in the 60s.) At that time the procedure included removing the toe bone closest to the foot. No more bunions and my big toes are straight, but they shrunk to half size and have very little strength! Over the years, the three middle toes have turned toward the outsides (same as the big toes did before surgery) so everything is out of alignment.
“A few months ago I bought a pair of ‘Happy Feet' toe-spacer socks to wear at night; they have helped, but since doing the Beautiful Feet exercises my feet and ankles are getting stronger, and I believe the toes are moving slowly into better alignment!
“Because of arthritis and osteopenia I was excited to learn that the feet exercises also stimulate the synovial fluid in the hip joints, and am using that knowledge to work on my knees and hands.” – Janice Kamp, Certified PraiseMoves Instructor in Lancaster County, PA
