I will be on the journey with you, blogging the experience every day – in prayer, in fasting, in amazement at what I believe the Lord will do in and through us during this 10-day period!!!

I’ll be writing my goals and prayer requests today in preparation for the start tomorrow. I am so excited!

The Daniel Diet is a 10-day program based on Daniel 1:12:

“Please test your servants for 10 days, and let them give us pulse to eat and water to drink. Then let our appearance be examined before you… Then at the end of the 10 days, their features appeared better and healthier than all the young men who ate a portion of the king’s delicacies…As for these four youths, God gave them learning and skill in all literature and wisdom and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.”

Amazing Results on the Daniel Diet. Many lost lots of weight. Many had great increases in their health and came off medications. The results were outstanding.

On average, men lost 12 lbs, women lost 8 lbs (some more, some less). My friend Lisa lost 9 pounds, and I dropped 10 excess pounds!

ON THE JOURNEY

As I mentioned, I will be on this Daniel Diet with you, blogging the experience every day – in prayer, in fasting, in amazement at what I believe the Lord will do in and through us during this short 10 days!

Be sure to write your goals and prayer requests. For those on the Daniel Diet, there is also a daily call schedule for prayer (if you can join us  for the quick morning call), and nightly with me for 20-30 minutes).

WHY: I was inspired to develop a 10-day program that accurately represents the diet that Daniel, Hananiah, Azariah and Mishael consumed while in Babylonian captivity, in order to honor God.

I believe that this exact diet, which combines extremely healthy foods, pure water, prayer and fasting periods every day, will transform those who choose to undertake it.

GOALS: While not required, it is encouraged that each participant set goals (500 word essay) that they’d like to see God accomplish in and through their lives in the areas of physical, spiritual, mental and emotional health.

PRAYER: We will be committing to daily prayer three times per day both corporately and individually.

RESULTS: We expect to see wonderful transformation in body, mind and spirit as God gives us 10 times the wisdom, favor and understanding — as husbands, wives, mothers, and fathers, ministers, teachers–in all areas of our lives.

I’d say it’s SUPERNATURAL. Wouldn’t you?

    This is the perfect time for me to try this. I was thinking about surgery to loose weight. I would rather not!!!! I’m just tired of this baggage! I would much rather do it naturally. I tried a Vegan diet for 1 month. I felt GREAT! I know our body needs those nutrients from the fruits and veggies. 🙂
