****FINAL EXAM INFO****
CPI Trainees:
Remember that you will be required to know the 3-Point Method for the Final Exam.
You will use this continuously in your PraiseMoves classes.
3-Point Method to Teach a Scripture Sequence
1. Teach the postures that are in the Scripture Sequence during your PraiseMoves workout (include each posture's accompanying scripture and reference).
2. Flow through the postures without the scripture (cue the PraiseMoves posture names only).
3. Do it again: Cue posture name + corresponding scripture line (students repeat the scripture after you).
4. OPTIONAL 4th time (which most of us always do) - Cue only the scripture lines (invite your students to repeat the verse lines after you).
REMEMBER: STUDY how Dr. Laurette teaches the postures in the videos and you will do excellently well!
***Music question? You may use Christian music with words for WWW - but ONLY instrumental Christian music or classical (not New Age, of course!) for Postures. We want people to FOCUS on the Word and your instruction. You will receive PraiseMoves Class Music CD#1 with your Certificate.
What do you say when you teach?
Guide your students into a posture, breathing, Scripture (invite them to repeat after you; add an element of praise in line with the video above, such as “We thank You, Lord, that Your Word says…*scripture*…”)
— Don’t be robotic here – be yourself! You’re thankful for God’s Word already–just let some of your thankfulness show.
Your students will pick up on your genuineness and it will bless them, letting them know they can enter into praise easily.
We call this the "Higher Dimension of Praise." Keep it simple and it will flow easily for you.
–You are a Leader and a Minister of the Gospel. Your students will follow you. We are “not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for every who believes” (Romans 1:16).
WATCHING HOW DR. LAURETTE TEACHES IN THE 22 CORE POSTURE VIDEO WILL BE VERY HELPFUL FOR YOU.
–Mention benefits (I like doing this toward the beginning, “This posture is great for…”). Mention contraindications when guiding into a posture (“If your neck is sensitive, look straight ahead instead of up”).
-- Incorporate the revelation regarding praise from Session THREE, part 1 where I shared the revelation from Galatians 3:5 and Jeremiah 33:11 ("I thank You, Lord, that Your Word says..." or "We praise You, Father that..." and then follow with the Scripture). In your classes, the Higher Dimension of Praise would not be done for every posture in your class (instead, let the Holy Spirit guide you). Invite students to repeat after you.
We DO ask you to do the Higher Dimension of Praise for each of the five postures you do DURING YOUR 1-ON-1 ZOOM, but in your class, you wouldn't necessarily do so each time. In class, you will let the Holy Spirit guide you.
Let's "Transform Our Workouts into Worship" by finding WORSHIP within the scripture.
For example, in the Rest & Stretch posture you could say: "I worship You as I rest in You, Lord." Invite your students to repeat after you.
Praising the Lord for and in His Word will become second nature to you.
Push through your comfort zone and past the fear of doing something new and "un-COMFORT-able" - lean on the Comforter, and be willing to *feel* foolish. It looks good on us, no matter how offended our pride, flesh, and minds may be (I speak from experience here).
Example from NolaJeanne Baird, Master CPI Trainer:
For example, For Mt.Zion, I now say: "Father, we thank You that Your Word says, 'those who trust in the Lord are like Mt Zion which cannot be moved but abides forever. Ps 125:1.'" See how I prefaced the scripture with a statement of thanksgiving?
Another example for The Eagle, I now say: "Those who wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isa 40:31' - thank You for Your strength and Your Word, Lord."
Again, remember that you do not have to praise the Lord for every single one of His scriptures during a class. It will become more natural (or supernatural!) for you in time. We DO, however, want you to add the Higher Dimension of Praise to each of your postures on your 5-postures ZOOM.
2. Final Exam on Monday, October 5. You have 24 hours from the time it is sent to complete it. The exam itself MUST be submitted online NO LATER than Tuesday, October 6 (the next day) Tuesday afternoon (Central US time).
It will be a multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, and written test that you will take online.
We know you will do excellently well, in Jesus' name. Amen!
