Is it alright to take Communion outside of a Church service? 
The early church took Communion and “broke bread” regularly in each others' homes as we see from Acts 2:46-47:
“They worshiped together regularly at the Temple each day, met in small groups in homes for Communion, and shared their meals with great joy and thankfulness, praising God. The whole city was favorable to them, and each day God added to them all who were being saved.”

What do you need for the elements of Communion? 
You may have a Communion set, or pre-filled cups and wavers, or like I will, matzoh and grape juice (you may substitute crackers).

Have your Bible handy, the elements of Communion, some paper, and a pen if you'd like to take notes.
Be prepared to receive your healing from the Lord.
